Inclusive Climbing

Our inclusive clubs provide an empowering environment for young people to positively engage in activities that reduce social isolation, increase self-worth, and build resilience. Through our clubs, young people gain an opportunity to escape everyday stressors, take risks in a safe environment, and importantly... have fun.

The Inclusive Climbing Club is for young people aged 12-18 years with additional sensory, learning, physical or emotional needs. Sessions are lead by qualified climbing instructors and supported by trained iDID volunteers on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis. The club costs £15 to attend and all equipment included.

To support inclusive communication methods we use the iDID Sign Climb System which helps to remove barriers that may be faced on the wall. You can find out more about the Sign Climb System here.
