Erin May, Chair

Having worked with disadvantaged young people in a number of settings, Erin Chairs the Board of Trustees and brings a specialism in counselling children and young people.

Outside of her professional environment, Erin loves to travel and learn about new cultures.

 

 

Sarah Martin, Trustee

Sarah joins our board of trustees with a wealth of knowledge and experience of project operations after managing our Adventure Club and Outreach projects. She is also a qualified Lipspeaker and supports the board with quality assurance and policy. A fashion designer by day, you'll find Sarah spending her free time either climbing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, or paddleboarding. She also likes some quiet time and when she catches her breath she is a master crocheter.

 

Gerard Scully, Treasurer

With over 20 years’ experience in business development within the logistics industry, Gerard brings a variety of networking, administrative and project management skills to the team. With a passion for innovation, Gerard started his own logistics company and gained valuable experience in business management.

 

Susanne Rees, Chief Executive

Susanne is a multi-award winning social entrepreneur with experience in business management, psychology, and a specialism in child and adolescent mental health. She is also the founder of iDID Adventure.

With a background in commercial leisure services, business strategy, and management, Susanne made a shift to the third sector after being diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 2. Putting her skills into practice she has sat on advisory boards for Sport England, British Mountaineering Council, and global leadership charity, Common Purpose. She also currently serves as a Trustee for SignHealth and Deaf Unity.

Lucy Somers, Programme Coordinator

Lucy Somers joins the team as Programme Coordinator for iDID Adventure with a background in New Business Development, Sales and Marketing.


Lucy has gained a wealth of experience as a Bookkeeper and a PA, as well as, working with children and young people through her roles with local charities and organisations.
